Wellness in Body, Mind and Spirit
Techniques
Classic Swedish
A traditional technique that uses long, smooth strokes and a light to medium touch.  It is intended to stir the nerve endings to respond and relax, bringing increased arterial flow through the veins and improving the body's balance.  This is a good choice for a first time massage experience or for someone with fibromyalgia.
Deep Tissue
An intense massage that incorporates pressure point and myofascial release technique and focuses on the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue.  Long, slow strokes deliver protection and pain relief.  You will emerge revitalized.
Sports Massage
This technique is usually associated with athletes who wish to optimize their training.  Concentration is on stretching, deeper pressure and aims to maintain the body structures placed under greater demand by athletic activities.
Rehabilitation
Customized technique based on pain relief and relaxation.  Soothes muscle soreness and invigorates joints and connective ligaments.  This technique is especially helpful in restoring muscles, ligaments and nerves after excessive strain or injury.  Care is taken to personalize the sessions to meet the needs of each client's physical condition.

Polarity Therapy
Specialized technique which synthesizes the concepts of ancient Eastern and alternative medicine health-care to center on the human energy field.  Healing can be achieved through the manipulation of complimentary (polarized) energies.  Using touch, verbal interaction, exercise, nutrition, and other methods, practitioners of polarity therapy seek to balance and restore the body's natural flow of energy.  The aim is to establish balance throughout the body, mind and spirit.
Warm Stone Therapy
This customized session begins with a gentle dry brushing.  Heated Moroccan Rose Oil is then used to stimulate the muscles, vertebrae and nerves with dark warm stones.  The stones massage and unwind the back for a soothing, healing and relaxing experience.
